Monday Made It: Pick Me, a Freebie, and Genre Posters

My Monday didn't start off on the right foot! My furry child went in to get her shots and had a severe allergic reaction! She had to spend the day hooked to an IV, but is okay now... Thank the Lord!!

My little Lilo is on the right

While my {furry} baby was at the vet, I had time to finish some 'Pick Me Sticks' and finally add my genre posters to TPT. I Love, Love, Love Fourth Grade Frolic's Monday Made It!

Here are my 'Pick Me Sticks'

When I saw them on Fourth Grade Frolics I knew I had to make some of my own; they were too cute to resist! I created the classroom numbers on my computer and used a fancy hole punch to make the edges look like flowers.

Here's How They Were Made

I then glued each number to a popsicle stick. The pot the sticks are placed in is a clay garden pot that I painted with chalkboard paint. I added tape around the rim to add some chevron {I just LOVE black and white chevron!!!}

I am so excited to use these to call on students in my classroom!

If you are interested in making some of your own, I have the black and red numbers I created on my TPT store for FREE! Grab them {HERE}

Project #2

For the past few days I have been working on creating book genre posters for my classroom. I wanted posters that would really POP! I spent hours and hours making sure I would create just that!

Here Are My New Genre Posters:

Aren't they pretty?? Okay, I know I'm tooting my own horn here, but I just loved how they turned out! I can't wait to hang them up in my classroom and show you all! They are already printed and ready to go!

You can find these guys on my TPT store by clicking the picture or {HERE}

This blog is new, but I am starting a new tradition. When I have a new TPT product, the first person to comment with their email will receive the product in the post for FREE! When I have more followers, I hope to give my products away to more than just one person.
