December Currently

Hello December! How I love this month... the colors, the music, the trees, the lights... Okay, I'll stop! Christmas has always been an important part of my life. My mom would always decorate the house and the family would come to our house for Christmas Eve. My cousins and I have all grown up, and Christmas Eve is no longer at the Rossmiller household. It's so sad to realize that this tradition is over, but exciting to think about new Christmas traditions when I have a family of my own.

As soon as I got home from a week stay in Portland, I was off to clean the house and got out the Christmas decorations. My tree is up and some of my new decorations I bought are up.

Check out these cute little guys! I purchased them at Pier1 during their Black Friday sale. I really couldn't resist!

Tomorrow I'll be putting up the lights and decorating my tree. I'm excited to show everyone!

What are some of your favorite Christmas memories?

  1. I love decorating for Christmas! Too bad I don't have space for a tree in my place and my parents don't put one up anymore either. But at least I get to decorate the classroom! :)

Found your blog through the linky. Love the blog name!

    1. Thank you! That's too bad you don't have space for a tree... I would go Christmas crazy without one!

  2. I love decorating for Christmas too. I have my house and yard all done, but I need to work on my classroom. I usually put a small tree up in my classroom. I will try to get all of the decorating done by the end of the week. Notice I said "try". Thanks for sharing.

    1. Best of luck with the decorating! I'm sure you'll get it done!

  3. Found your blog through Farley and love it! I haven't done much decorating this year as I'm headed home for Christmas (17 more days!) but I'm thinking maybe I should put something up. I love the holidays and it's rather un-Christmas-y around here. Maybe I'll head to Pier 1 :)
