February Currently

Hello February! I love this quirky short month... Days get a little longer, the sun comes out a little more often, and there's even a little romance (eeewww, as my students would say).

Listening: I love Motown music! I could listen to Marvin Gaye all day, every day!

Loving: My little furry child, Lilo, turned 2 on Tuesday. I love the joy my little girl brings me!

Thinking: I think every teacher feels the exact same way... If you don't, you must have super powers!

Wanting: I have a free trial of Amazon Prime and love it! But, the free trial is almost up... I DO NOT want to pay the $79... boo!

Needing: Yup, it's that time of year when school supplies, like pencils, go completely extinct!

2 Truths and a Fib

What's the lie?? Take your guess...

It's that I've traveled to 6 out 7 continents. So far, I've been to North America (obviously, haha), Europe, and Asia. It is a dream of mine to travel to all 7 continents, including Antarctica!

I am an opera singer {mezzo soprano} and I have had just about every natural hair color you could imagine... except mine was fake. To tell you the truth, I don't even know what my natural hair color is! Last year, I was a brunette and a red head. This year, I am a blonde

Are you ready for February!?! Share your Currently and link up on Farley's blog,

  1. I felt the same way when my trial was coming to an end. But I didn't notice when it expired because I was so busy around that time. And now, I realize it is sooooo worth it. I've definitely saved $79 and over that by now, so I think you should totally go for it if you use Amazon as much as I do. I totally mentioned something I got on Amazon in my Currently post...whoops! LOLOLOL

    1. Thank you for your great input... I do so much shopping on Amazon, I'm sure it's well worth it! The thought of $79 leaving my already measly account scares me! I need to win the lottery :)

  2. OH yes! The lure of Amazon Prime. I love Amazon and pretty much buy everything there except milk, because that would be gross. :) I agree with Carrie that it's definitely worth the cost, but it's still a chunk of change! Yikes! Your little doggie is SOO cute. I would stare at him all day too. How could you not? I'm excited to follow your blog! I was in Second but switch this year, but it's still one of my favorites!

  3. I like the blonde hair. I have had many colors as well. As far as the Amazon Prime membership, pay the $79! I know it sounds like alot but you will not regret it (if you shop like me)! Glad I found your blog and thanks for sharing a peek into your life.

  4. I love the name Lilo and your dog is too cute! I also need supplies. Maybe they should create a shopping event called back to school from winter break and have sales everywhere just like in the beginning of school!

  5. OMG, I just adore the picture of your dog. Happy birthday to your doggie Lilo! So cute! I have two dogs and they are like my children...I love so much. I feel the same way about work, I'm always thinking about what needs to get done. I hope that you get the supplies that you need for your classroom. Have a great weekend!:)

  6. The fee for Amazon is TOTALLY worth it! I have had it now for 5 years and can't imagine life without it!

  7. It IS possible to get a cheaper Amazon Prime membership! But you have to be in college or use an email of someone who is...I signed up for Amazon student a couple years ago while I was getting my graduate degree for like half price! Then I believe I got a discount when I renewed it. Anyway, it's worth the price!
