Hi Everyone, I'm Elizabeth Rossmiller. I am currently an Instructional Technology Coach in Oregon. Before I became a Tech Coach, I was an elementary teacher for seven years (grades 1, 2, & 3) and was also a K-5 Technology Specialist. I love to share technology ideas with both students & teachers!

I started this blog in July of 2013 to share some of my experiences as an elementary teacher. After graduating from college, I was convinced that I was going to be an upper elementary teacher. I just had finished student teaching in a 5th grade class and was ready to move on from teaching preschool, so I applied for every 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade position I was qualified for. After lots of rejection, I had an interview that changed my life. The principal saw something in me that I didn't see... Instead of offering me the 6th grade position I applied for, I was told I was meant to be a 3rd grade teacher and was offered a 3rd grade position. I taught 3rd grade for two years and was in heaven. After budget cuts, I was moved to teaching a 1st and 2nd grade blend, and even though I was terrified to teach 1st graders, it was then that I KNEW without a doubt that I was meant to be a primary teacher.

Entering my 9th year of teaching, I started a new adventure; technology coaching. Now that I am an Instructional Tech Coach, I get to experience all the wonderful things each grade level has to offer. Couldn't ask for anything more!
